Sisters from Deepthi Bhavan regularly went to Honnemmanagatta, a village at H.D Kotta in Karnataka State, to conduct Health Programme and to run a dispensary. In course of time, a house was bought by the Diocese and the sisters stayed in it and thus founded Jyothi convent. Mananthavady diocese had a school there and the sisters are teaching therein. When the Diocese was branched as Mandya diocese, the Convent is situated in this Diocese.
